Tim Schurrer is on a mission to redefine success.

As the author of The Secret Society of Success and host of the Build a Winning Team podcast, Tim challenges the conventional belief that success is measured by status, recognition, or climbing the ladder. Instead, he invites people to consider “helping others win” as the North Star for how they live and lead.

Tim serves as CEO of David Novak Leadership, the organization founded by former Yum! Brands CEO David Novak. Through its leadership development programs and the How Leaders Lead podcast, Tim helps equip leaders at every stage of life to make a greater impact.

He also co-created a leadership development program with the NFL designed to help coaches and front-office staff lead with purpose and serves as an advisor to Chief Cares, the bold housing initiative founded by Eric Church to help western North Carolina families rebuild after Hurricane Helene.

Each week, Tim gains unique access to some of the world's most accomplished leaders through conversations with guests such as Tom Brady, Condoleezza Rice, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, Jamie Dimon, Mary Barra, Deion Sanders, Whitney Wolfe Herd, and hundreds of others. Drawing from those insights, Tim helps audiences discover what success truly is—and what it isn't.

Prior to his current role, Tim spent a decade as COO alongside New York Times bestselling author Donald Miller, helping launch and scale StoryBrand and Business Made Simple. Earlier in his career, he worked with brands including Apple and TOMS Shoes. He has spoken to organizations such as Chick-fil-A, Southwest Airlines, and many others, helping leaders and teams embrace a more meaningful definition of success.

Whether you're a leader looking to empower your team, a professional feeling trapped by cultural expectations, or someone who longs for deeper fulfillment in your work, Tim offers a paradigm shift. His message? Success and satisfaction are not about what you achieve, but how you serve and impact others along the way.

Tim lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Katie, and their two kids.
